This documentary focuses on the musical talents of an independent artist, Van Nguyen, a Pre-Med student at the University of Kansas.

About This Project

I directed and edited this piece as an assignment for my Basic Video Production class at the University of Kansas. It was the first short film that I worked on in college, and it solidified my passion for film, especially documentary.

My favorite part about working on this project was interviewing Van because she was incredibly open and excited to talk to us. This documentary was shown at the Oldfather Film Festival at Liberty Hall in Lawrence, Kansas, in May 2025.
